Stella is from the music album InterStella 5555 by Daft Punk. It's a series of musical animations following an alien band kidnapped and brainwashed by a cult-leading human for their musical talent and rescued by another space-guardian alien with a more-than-platonic interest in Stella. It is up to interpretation if their relationship was originally one-sided or not.
I interpret Stella to be a touch-empath/telepath from several various reactions she has to touching others as well as a full dream-scape she shares with their dying rescuer. While flashbacks into her childhood show her playing jump-rope with other young children, Stella tends to have a more reserved personality and graceful sense of movement as compared to her band-mates. Some scenes seem to indicate Stella has more of a priority and less strenuous expectations than her band-mates, but that may be linked to her later focus as their captor's intended cult sacrifice.
My version of Stella is very open to interpretation since she is from a series of animated videos and she does not have any spoken lines. I do not own Stella, her design, her canon, the music, the images, or anything else. I make no profit from this, only possible entertainment and the expansion of my skills at observation and writing creatively.
